About Me

Over the past 20 years, I’ve dedicated my career to leveraging geospatial tools to solve natural resource challenges. Most recently I’ve led the geospatial program of work for two national priority teams at the US Forest Service, responsible for over $10 billion in special congressional appropriations. I am a highly motivated, skilled individual with professional values rooted in mutual respect, inclusivity, trust, and transparency. My attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills ensure I provide reliable analytics, high-quality products, and thoughtful solutions.

I have developed custom tools that improve workflows, create standards, and streamline processes. I have developed competitive skills with hard work, love of learning, self-motivation, and mentorships. It has been a joy to now provide that mentorship to people starting their geospatial career.

My communication skills are some of my most valuable assets. I have a talent for being able to talk about technical subjects with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with different levels of technical expertise. My communication skills allow me to understand and meet the needs of the customer in new and exciting ways. One of the skills I learned working as an internal consultant was how to listen to not only what the customer wanted, but what the customer needed. To then  be able to effectively communicate back how we could meet that need in the most efficient and effective way resulted in the successes of my career.
